BREEAM is a nationally/internationally renowned assessment method to ensure a building is designed and constructed incorporating sustainable equipment, methods and materials.

BREEAM addresses a range of environmental and sustainability issues and enables the professional team to demonstrate the environmental aspects of their buildings to clients, planners and other interested parties.   The measures take into account categories and criteria from energy to ecology including aspects related to energy and water use, the internal environment (health and well-being), pollution, transport, materials, waste, ecology and management processes.   A scoring system is utilised to measure a buildings performance based on design intent with details provided by the professional team. A building is then assessed and rated ranging from a fail/pass up to a target of Good, Very Good and Excellent.
